Hi guys,
I wanted to post the first screenshots of my first texture pack, Better Blocks.
I am editing this for the snapshot 12w21b release to include emeralds.
So far I have completed:
-Iron ore
-Coal ore
-Gold ore
-Diamond ore
-Redstone ore
-Lapis ore
-Emerald ore
-Obsidian
-Cobblestone
-Mossy Cobble
-Gravel
-Sand
-Bedrock
-Mob spawner
-Glass

So here are the screenshots:

Comments and criticism appreciated everyone
Also what blocks do you think need changing? This could help me greatly when it comes to editing blocks.

The texture for gravel has already been changed in the latest snapshot and looks better. However there is still alot of room for improvement.

I know, but your tp has its own looks, so actually change everything

I would recommend darker obsidian.
Not sure about the way the ores are all the same shape. It's good though.

I'm creating my own soon also.

It is going to take a while to get everything looking better whilst retaining the original look but I guess hard work pays off

I'm actually working on my own texture pack, it has an Avatar: TLA theme. It is going good except for that I can't figure out how to texture the chests right, it always ends up like a pink block.

I really love the ores on this texture pack, but I won't download it until 1.3 at least because of waiting times for new block updates and all. Consider me a fan.
