Ok so you know how some loyalists Space Marines have hero's that can make terminators troops, well I personally think that the Chaos Space Marines should be able to have Terminator troops as well. Out of all the traitor legions the Word Bearers could make this possible, in a Host ( http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Host#.T8Lg9rBd6uI ) the Word Bearers have an elite unit of over 200 terminators called the anointed. That's twice the size of a loyalist company. So if Dark Angles get terminator troops from taking Belial who leads the Deathwing (First company of the DA) then its completely reasonable to say that chaos could get terminator troops by taking a word bearer hero. I know there is no hero is the current chaos dex that is from the word bearers, but rumours say the the new dex is focused strongly on the original 9 traitor legions.

So do you think its possible that the next dex for chaos would include a HQ choice that allows terminators to be brought as troops, and if so do you think it would be a Word Bearer HQ ?

Any word bearer HQ character would be some sort of Dark Apostle giving Chaplain buffs to the chaos army.

If you really must have chaos terminators do what I am doing, play a DW list based on the Fallen. Every model is being done as a chaos terminator but with DW usable wargear. I am having fun shopping for bitz to compliment the building of the army and it should stand out on the table.

A Dark Apostle is a Chaplain yes, but would only buff the squad he would be in with arcane rights and such. Another idea would be the Coryphaus, he is the the most senior captain of the Word Bears, the tactical leader of the force who wears Terminator Armour and lead the assault in the Land Raiders with Anointed.

It would seem logical, but seriously I hope not. Why ? Because everyone would play chaos legions Word Bearers Terminators list, like everyone is playing DA or GK terminators lists. What would be awesome would rather be something like X World Bearer HQ enable 0-2 squad of terminators to be taken as troop choice and all summoned daemons can already begin in the deployement zone at the start of the game rather than having to be summoned, but may only be taken as elite choice (and give them reasonable stats of course). It would seriously be more balanced.

I see what you mean, but I have always wanted to run a chaos terminator army when I get the models. I have only even seen completely Terminator armies a few times, one of them being a GK player in my gaming group. and the other two on battle reports on miniwargaming. One was Deathwing and the other wolf guard.

I concur my friend since Word Bearers have extensive use of of Daemons we should be able to ally with Chaos Daemons, I love the Chaos Daemons and hope to start an army. But for now my greater and lesser daemons will do
