Hey, I'm wondering what sort of things I should be looking at for starting a small Grey Knights army that I can build on.
I don't want some silly Draigowing thing, abusing wound allocation and such. I would prefer multiple units of small tactical marine-esque squads, maybe with some dreadnaughts. Is MSU non-termy GK possible? I wouldn't mind a few terminator-type models although I'm not sure what type.
HQ wise I'm thinking termy librarian with Nemasis Force Stave, because it's awesome.
Anyway what sort of things should I be looking at at 1,000 points? What infantry load-outs are better at anti-MEQ, anti-horde, anti-tank?
Help appreciated.

3 Twin linked psybolt autocannon dreads for 135 points each.
Pretty disgustingly awesome. Shoots tanks, MEQ, and for horde, they're walkers, so tell your opponent you're sorry (even if you're really not).

Basically, the Psycannon is you best friend.
It is the swiss army knife of guns.
It has enough shots to hurt horde units,
It has High enough strength to deal with tanks
it has rending to deal with low armor saves
If you want MSU [ei 5 man squads] them probably a purifier list is they way to go.
HQ: Crowe
Troops: 5-6 man purifier units with 2 psycannons, Halberds and maybe a hammer
Mount them in a Rhino )shoot psycannons out the top) or a Razorback (need to get out to shoot, but more firepower)
Fast/ elite not needed
Heavy is for you dreads.
You can do a similar thing with 10 man Strike squad units, but you are forced to take the rhinos.
If that option interests you instead, a 10 man strike squad usually has 2 psycannons, Psybolt ammo, and a Hammer on the Justicar. No halberds for this unit.
===================================
If you want to run a terminator librarian you could run them in a Chimera as a transport.
HQ: Librarian
HQ: Inquisitor in terminator armor with a Psycannon
Henchmen: 3x dudes with meltaguns, 5x dudes with bolters
Mounted in a Chimera.
Both HQ's can ride here, and the librarians best buffs have at least a 6" range so you can cast them on nearby units.
Then you could have some 10 man strike squads (as above) as your troops
Then add in some fire support from dreads

MSU regular GKs is certainly viable; Razorbacks and psycannon GKs with a Vindicare, Psyflemen dreads, and Purgators makes a shooty list; Rhinos and assault weapons with Purifiers/Paladins, Stormravens, and tricked-out HQ makes a close-combat list, mix up the units for a more versatile build. Basically, everything with 'Grey Knight' in the name is at least competent, take whatever jumps out at you and you'll have a pretty good list for friendly play/casual tournaments.

If you want an MSU GK army, go for Crowe and Purifiers. Small Purifier units can have 2 psycannons whereas GKSS need to be maxed out for the same loadout.
