Alright, so I am putting cloaks on my 3rd 10 man sternguard squad. I made the cloaks out of grey stuff, and in order to get good ruffles, I made sure the cloaks were thin. However, as anyboyd knows, as you thin something out, it becomes more flexible, and, after a few days of hardening, they are still very flexible. I was wondering how I can harden them?
1. Should I put some clear glue over the cloaks?
2. Painting the cloaks (plan to do).
3. Something else?

Oh and how do they look in your oppinion and how can I make em better?

Oh ya, and I'll make sure to put the packs on their backs after I paint the cloaks, unless you think I shouldn't for some reason.

Thanks in advance!
