I think it looks dynamite, and I think that from correct viewing distance these are going to look amazing. Prepare yourself, however, because I think that most folks (at least the pro painters you find around these kinds of sites) will recommend that you thin down your paints in the future. Some of the areas look like they could be a little thick, and the texture can be made smoother and more natural with thinner, more numerous layers, rather than fewer thicker ones. Don't let such comments get you down, though. As I said, these look super sweet. If we were in a tournie that used a painting score, you'd definitely get high marks from me!

I'm not a huge fan of the lightning effects on power weapons, but everybody else who isn't me loves them, so you should be good to go. I really dig on the banners, they look awesome. The plasma coils on that rifle in the background look awesome, and you've done a great job on that aquila on the front of the tank, as well as the lettering. Really good work here.

what Jimsolo said, thinning your paints will help achieve a smoother paintjob. some edge highlighting with a 50/50 mix of your blue (assuming its UM blue) mixed with spacewolfs grey will help define your details a bit more.

other then that. its a great looking bunch of models!
i really love that powersword the champion is wielding. normally people (myself incl) will try to achieve razor thin lighting effects on them, but i rather like the big bulky bolt of lightning. if you wanna share the secret it will be appreciated!

Sisters of Battle can be used in any game, with the exception of chess, Monopoly and of course, Warhammer 40,000.

After 8 editions, you might have thought that GW could get fantasy right.

I do not know of this SpaceWolf Grey you speak of. It may have been something that the Emperor has wisely mindscrubbed from my memory. I only know of Fenrisian Grey. LOL

As for questions about the power sword, i just made some random lines with dark blue and then outlined them increasingly and slightly cropped with gradual shades of lighter blue until I reached white.

Yeah, my paints are blobby. I've actually only been painting and gaming for about 8 months or so. I'm just now realizing the details picked up by a HD SLR camera. I wish I had a macro lens.
