Imotekh's codex entry states that only enemies without logic can defeat him, like the Orks. So, who would win? The greatest Ork in history, or the Stormlord?

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

'She sat on the corner, gulping the soup down, uncaring of the heat of it. They had grown more watery as of late she noted, but she wasn't about to beggar food from the Imperials or the "Bearers of the Word." Tau, despite their faults at least didn't have a kill policy for her race.'

Ghazkull because Imotekh would be confounded by the lack of logic that Ghazkull has. I have a feeling it would be a quick fight too.

Actually, I wasn't going for one-on-one, more of Waaagh! vs Necron Invasion. One thing's for sure, the carnage would be reminiscent of the ancient War in Heaven.

In terms of generalship Ghazghkull is probably the easiest ork to defeat for Imotekh, as he is at least is following some kind of great scale plan. If he tries to defeat even a single warband by laying his well-planned traps like he is described in fluff, he is setting himself for utter defeat. Orks can only defeatet by brute force, not by mind games and traps.

So while he might know what's coming, he can't really do anything about it.

In close combat, Thrakka would stomp him flat, period.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.

Ghaz.

Even being able to see Ghaz's plans several moves ahead (or several thousand) won't help you much when the plan includes turning you into a tinfoil squig Curry container.

Problem is, ghaz has logic and understanding on how warfare works, which is why he is where he is. (that and a fething big klaw)

However, 1 on 1 is a simple decision.
All out war is a different thing though, but i think the results would end up the same.

Imotekh might be able to outwit Ghazgkull's strategies and tactics, but there's always the backup plan: charge the enemy with lots of dakka and choppas and bury them in a green wave. Imotekh might be able to 'just as planned' Ghazgkull and sip his tea, only to drop the teacup as the horizon and battlefield turn green beneath an ocean of Orks.

Orks have logic, just not the kind of logic Imotekh is able to use.

But...

"The Imperium is nothing if not willing to go to any lengths necessary. So the Trekkies are zipping around at warp speed taking small chucks out of an nigh-on infinite amount of ships, with the Imperium being unable to strike back. feth it, says central command, and detonates every vortex warhead in the fleet, plunging the entire sector into the Warp. Enjoy tentacle-rape, Kirk, we know Sulu will." -Terminus
