Hi all,

I'm Tone, I live in Hertfordshire, UK. I work for a college in Network Support which basically means I help hold the system together with toothpicks, gaffa tape, willpower and a little luck.

I've remained in flux with the hobby since way back when I was a youngster. I've recently started getting some newer 40k models together and plan to slowly build up and Imperial and Xenos army so have gone for Blood Angels and Necrons. I also have an ongoing Guard army. IG and BA I probably have at least 2500pts each in various states of fully painted or still in the boxes. Necrons I literally just bought my first piece which was the Command Barge kit. I'm gonna build the Necrons as intended in proper hobby fashion aiming to get at least one fully painted unit per month while I take a break doing either Guard or BA in between.

I'm more of a builder/painter and less of a hobbyist/gamer although I'd like to do more of everything time usually doesn't permit and new shiny plastic stuff keeps getting bought.

I am anticipating 6th Edition but have been watching many Batreps, mainly on MWG and Youtube, are there any other sites I should be checking out?. Also are there any really good 40k Podcasts? I have tried some this week and in the past but find them very different from the few WHFB casts I settled on.

I also have plenty of old/new WHFB bits but never tied down to any one thing. I have a decent amount of Demons and various bits of other armies. Again hardly ever play with them, just build and paint. There are a couple of really good UK Podcasts that I follow for Fantasy to keep abreast of the hobby.

I've dabbled a little with some Warmachine, Flames of War and other historicals, always attempting to get into Napoleonics but always tuning out fast.

Hi, I checked the link and it looks interesting. It's also on the weekend following my birthday so may well be up for it. Let me see how this phase of my turbulent Warhammer life goes by then. I'll hope to at least have some BA and Necrons together by that time for sure.

Speaking of which my hands are currently coated in Vallejo steel model air paint at this very moment and I'm typing this while my compressor cools down! Command Barge on it's way. Amazing kit! Thinking of going Novokh with them come on Arsenal
