Hello guys.

I had a previous bike list which i tested on VASSAL, and failed badly.

So, with the problems revised (i think?), here is the new list.

HQ:
Captain w/ Bike, Relic Blade, Hellfire Rounds - 175

Troops:
Scout Squad w/ Camo Cloaks, Sniper Rifles, Missile Launcher - 100
Space Marine Bike Squad w/ +4 men, Power Weapon, 2 Meltaguns, Attack Bike: MultiMelta, Meltabombs – 305
Space Marine Bike Squad w/ +4 men, Power Weapon, 2 Meltaguns, Attack Bike: MultiMelta, Meltabombs – 305
Space Marine Bike Squad w/ +4 men, Power Weapon, 2 Meltaguns, Attack Bike: MultiMelta, Meltabombs – 305
Space Marine Bike Squad w/ +4 men, Power Weapon, 2 Flamers, Attack Bike: MultiMelta, – 290

Ok, so my previous prombles were:
I had a horribly expensive HQ. Khan with Command Squad. I have changed this to the only other HQ that allows me to take bikes. I've tried to keep the points down, Relic blade for Comat, and Hellfire rounds to make those bolters deadly. 3+ re-roll to hit, 2+ to wound.
I also had no objective campers. In my previous list, if i took a unit out of combat / range to sit on an objective, i was 5 bikes down and hugely outnumbered. Scouts offer me a cheap way of holding an objective and can still contribute with their snipers / ML.
I had no way to taking vehicles out in range. 3 LS with Missiles helps. It means that when my bikes get close, i can shoot up squish infantry opposed to putting 2MG and 1 MM shot into a tank.
1 bike squad now has flamers. This'll act as a clean up squad. Mainly because i was 10 points over with 2 MGs, but i think the flamers will help.
Finally, i have buffed the size of my Bike Squads. They were Sarge, 2 MGs, 2 regulars and an attack bike. They now have 4 regular guys. That way, i can take more wounds before i start losing Melta weapons.

Now, i aim to play White Scars, so adding Telion and other named characters that isn't Khan is not helpful.
I also aim to keep things fast. I'll hear your ideas, but ideally i'd like to keep my mobility

* Look at the gear of bike sergeants. They don't have an extra CC weapon. If you take a power weapon your only getting 2 attacks! Buy a PF, so your not gimping yourself. You can lose the meltabombs to help out

* In a 1750 game, I usually bring just 3 bike squads, and I bring more fire support. You might have problems with footprint with 4 squads. Basically with to many bikes its hard to manuver to get shots off.

* 3 Typhoons might be a bit fragile. Play a few games and see what happens.

So i'm playing another game on VASSAL, testing your theory of 'Fire Support'. I like the way it's panning out.
This is my List:

TOTAL – 1745

Now, i combat squads the bike squads. they go Attack bike, PF, 3 regulards and the other combat squad is 2 PG, 3 Regulars. That gives me 6 bike squads. I have 2 preds for medium armour destruction. 2 TWAC dreads for transport cracking, and a Whirlwind for massed infantry.

Previous lists i've built hit the cap from just filling out on 6 bike squads. I'm actually really pleased how this list is looking. Your thoughts?
