I plan on running 2 groups of 3 warbuggies with rokkits in my 1750 list. Is it worth it to add Wartrakks to my buggies? That is 30 pts I am putting on the two units to reroll dangerous terrain tests. Or would it be better to put the 30pts someplace else?

In my opinion i would only go for that upgrade if you were playing cities of death,as it is not worth its points in a normal game

No, as Fenwulf stated it's only useful in Cities of Death, and even then I would prefer the two extra Lootas or 5 More boyz.

Could you link us to the list, so we know where else the points would be more needed. Or if you just wanted your question answered, no it's not worth it. Ever really...

not really worth it.. keep em cheap. I run 9 rokkit buggeis at 35 points per model... it is just hard to beat vehicle squad survivabiliy with 3 TL rokkits going out for 105 points per squad....

my ork lists start with 315 points dedicated to okkit buggies... though admitadly I now also have 2 dakka jets so they'll get some playtime to , but they aren't battle hardened yet so I'll have to see how well they do ... but i am sceptical if they'll beat the antivehicle piercing of rokkit buggies.. and i alreayd have plaenty of antiinfantry with daboyz

Im with Goofy completely. Keep em cheap. Cheap means more of other things, and for Orks, that will be a lot of other things

Only take it if you know you'll be playing with heaps of dangerous terrain. Not worth it for an all-comers general army.
