The zombie apocalypse has finally started and you have to survive. You get to have four people in your group of survivors to help out. But the thing about survivors is that you never know who you're going to wind up with.

To figure out who your survivors are, you must go to Wikipedia and hit the "random article" button. The first four PEOPLE o appear are the members of your team, the first place to appear is WHERE you'll be making your stand.

For example:

My team:
Marc Fennell: An Australian film critic and broadcaster., not a good start, though he's Australian which at least means we'll have a good time before dying
Margaret McTavish Konantz: A Canadian politician, I'm guessing zombie bait
Ray Dolan: Another one like Marc, might be useful maybe, but not much hope, he's an Irish singer/songwriter
Erdman B. Palmore: A Professor Emeritus of Medical Sociology at Duke University, well crap, I have four useless teammates from the sound of it, I guess I throw them to the zombies and flee

And we make our final stand at Her Majesty's Theatre, Sydney, Australia. Well at least it seems kinda fortified, and all the props are good weapons, but no food, and in the middle of a city, I'm screwed on every level

Here you are: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
Now, get started!!!

My team -
Per Carlqvist - a Swedish plasma physicist with an interest in astrophysical applications
Maïna Kataki - a French born, feminist author based in Pune, India
Liu Congjian - a general of the Chinese dynasty Tang Dynasty who is most known for his term as the military governor (Jiedushi) of Zhaoyi Circuit
Leif Hoste - a Belgian professional road racing cyclist

Place -
Velipojë - an Albanian town in Shkodër District. The population is approximately 8026 people.

So a scientist, writer, warrior and sportsman. I reckon that might work. We would only need to kill off 8000 odd zombies too.

I was intrigued
My Team:
Daniel Gordon-32 year old American photographer
Hristijan Todorovski- 18 year old Macedonian foot baller. I expect he's rather fit, but can't find much about him.
Anthony Kiedis- 49 year old lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers
Nancy Caplinger: 52 year old justice on the Kansas Supreme Court, just what I always wanted in the zombie apoc: a lawyer.
Our final stand: Palace of the Four Winds in Poland, I suppose it's defensible enough...as the Polish home of WHO it almost makes sense too.
all told it sounds pretty screwed. Major population center nearby, 17th century palace, defended by a relatively young artist, athlete, and soldier and older artist and lawyer. Sub optimal, but totally the plot to a movie.

I'm at the Peer Gynt Sculpture Park in Oslo (Nice, got it in my home nation!)

I'm with;

Rudy Linterman; An ex-Pro Canadian Football Running Back. Guess it's good to have some brawn.
Curt Schille; a highly decorated major in the Wehrmacht during WWII. Strategy is useful.
Marisa Abbondanzieri; an Italian Politician. We could bore them to death.
David Andersen; a Pro Australian Basketball Player. Brawn again.

My chances are semi-decent, although I'm in an incredibly open area.

Charles Grimes - Currently deceased surveyor-general of New South Wales.
Danny Fields - American Author and Journalist.
Giedrius Tomkevičius - A Lithuanian football Midfielder currently playing for FK Ekranas.
Ange Pacomé Dogba Gnagbo - An Ivorian football player who currently plays for ASEC Mimosas

Making our stand at: Essen-Kupferdreh - A station located in the district of Kupferdreh of the city of Essen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

A dead guy, journalist, and two foreign football players, at a German Train Station. I'm fethed.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

This is a funny idea.

On the first try, I find that we will be located at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. This has the advantage of being nearby to my hometown, although that might also be a downside, since I'd be blasting on zombies I may recognize.

Amanda Bowman - Apparently, a popular British DJ. She's 53, so I hope she's spry. On the other hand, she apparently used to run a hostel for the homeless, so she probably knows a thing or two about scavenging.
Masanobu Ando - A Japanese actor and director. Sweet! If killing people is the name of the game, I have Kazuo Kiriyama on my side!
Adrian Hickmott - An Australian soccer player. Alright, an athlete! Apparently he was known for having a 'tough style of play,' and is still active in the sport (albeit as a coach).
Jonathan Little - An Australian born composer living in the UK. Apparently a writer, academic, and composer, all of whose skills seem to revolve around music. Could be deadweight, but might surprise me.

All in all, I feel good about my chances. Ando is the youngest person on our team (other than me) at 37, which means we are a little on the old side of things. In addition, 3/5 of my team comes from the commonwealth, which seems a little odd to me, but who am I to gainsay Wikipedia? My team seems like they are in good health, with a decent smattering of skills and no obvious personality flaws or disabilities. I rate my survival chances at damn good.

Daisy Irani (born 1952) is a famous former Bollywood and Kollywood child artiste in the 1950s and 1960s. Born into a Zoroastrian family, she is the sister of writer director Honey Irani.

Beate Schubert (born 14 October 1957) is a German fencer. She competed in the women's team foil event for East Germany at the 1980 Summer Olympics.[1]

Domenico di Bartolo (c. 1400/1404 – 1445/1447) was an Italian painter of the Sienese School.

Vladislav Gennadyevich Khakhalev (born January 5, 1966) is a retired Russian professional football player.

Location: Rayner Point: is a point marked by a rocky peak forming the north side of the entrance to Gibbon Bay on the east coast of Coronation Island, in the South Orkney Islands. Charted in 1912-13 by Captain Petter Sorlle, a Norwegian whaler. Recharted in 1933 by DI personnel on the Discovery II and named for George W. Rayner, member of the zoological staff of the Discovery Committee.

So I have a 60 year old Bollywood Actress, a 55 year old Fencer, a dead Italian artist and a 46 year old russian football player. Ordinarily I'd be fethed, but we are on a small Island just north of the South pole. Zombies will be slow if they are moveing at all. I reckon I might just get through this one!

Both your athletes are also involved in combat-related sports. Being athletes, they are probably still healthy, so you should be good, especially given the cold climate. I think your chances are pretty high, Cas.

Jim, he's a football player, not an American football player, it's not a combat based sport, remember only America plays 'American Football' and perhaps one or two other nations

I believe your country calls real football soccer

Classified, vermilion level clearance required.

First Member: Michael A. Christ, is Director of Legislative Affairs for Governor Dannel P. Malloy, as well as an attorney and former Democratic politician from East Hartford, Connecticut. Not really useful, works well as zombie bait, that's about it.

Second Member: Alessandro "Sandro" Grande, a former Canadian soccer player. He can kick stuff at the zombies, and he runs fast, pretty useful.

Third Member: Bob Collyard, a former American hockey player. Hockey players are very good fighting, the most useful person so far.

Fourth Member: Barbara Wilding CBE, QPM, CCMI, FRSA, the former Chief Constable of South Wales Police, the first woman to hold the post. Worked through the ranks, I imagine she would quite useful, because cops are always useful.

Place: Kureepuzha (Perinad) is a village located on Ashtamudi Lake in Kollam district of Kerala state in India. Not bad, not a lot people, isolated quite well on a lake, and plenty of water and food.

Well this isn't too bad, Christ may not be useful, but the other three make for a good team of zombie slayers. The location is also great for zombie survival, an isolated island, not very many people, plenty of fish, clams, coconuts, birds and what not to eat, lots of water, I could make a good stand with all that.

First Person: Elisa Lispector, Brazillian Novelist. Not very useful unless she was taught capoeria in brazil (not extremely likely).

Second Person: Elisha Scott, Irish football goalkeeper, holds record for longest serving player. he's Irish he can't be that bad.

Third Person: Les Edgerton, American Novelist. Not very useful again.

Fourth Person: Arnold H. Green is a history professor at Brigham Young University who specializes in modern Middle-Eastern history. Well it looks like I'm screwed.

Location: Martinice, a village of 421 people in the Czech Republic. Population looks good, but its land locked and Europe is highly populated, lots of food water etc.

I would barricade myself in the town centre, send my minions out on food runs, and to gather materials needed to journey farther north up to Denmark or Estonia.

Suffolk, where the Aliens roam.

I always find this game amusing, been a while as well, so..

My Team,

1. Thomas Raber, Austrian Composer, 40yrs old, not much else about him, knows a good tune though, might be able to keep our spirits up.

2. Simon 'Presti' Prestigiacomo, an Australian 'Aussie rules' footballer, only 34, strong defensive player regarded by a few as the toughest they ever had to play against, so we have a hardman.

3. Donnie Harrison, Sheriff of Wake County, North Carolina. 66yrs old, but a trained lawman who can use guns, so theres a potential leader.

4. Cătălina Ponor, a 24yr old Romanian gymnast, shes won medals, so obviously good at it. Main advantage probably fitter than the rest of us, agile and athletic.

My Location

Fölsen, a small village in North Rhine-Westphalia, only 200 residents, near a river and with a new fire truck in 2008. Nice, we can nick the truck and leg it if we need to. However it is in Germany, so heart of Europe, and not to far away from Dusseldorf.

I'd put our chances at 50-50.

My team

1.Chris Walley- 58 year old Welch geologist, author, and tertiary education lecturer

2. Koena Mitra - 28 year old Indian actress and former model

3. Jean-Christophe Bahebeck- 19 year old French Footballer (Paris Saint-Germain Ligue 1)

4.Rob McElhenney- 35 year old American film and television actor (Mac in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia).

Last stand at...
St Kilda, Scotland
A cold Island with craggy cliffs surrounded by sea...()
Area 854.6 ha
Highest elevation: Conachair 430 m
Main settlement Am Baile (the Village).
it has a WWI signal station, a couple of medieval style villages and quite a few early breed sheep...
Population- Uninhabited since 1930
Population never exceded 180...
Currently, the only year-round residents are defence personnel although a variety of conservation workers, volunteers and scientists spend time there in the summer months.

Does that mean no Zombies...
There were possibly some Viking raids in the middle ages...
Lots of people died there from decrease and some suspected lead poisoning in the 1900s...
It was also signal station in WWI and in WWII three planed crashed there...

So A Welch Geologist, Indian Actress, French Footballer and an american Actor against a horde of Vikings, Inbread Peasant Scots and Luftwaffe Zombies, with a slight chance of scientist/conservation workers/defence personnel zombies.

(Edited to include more info about stuff)
