I ordered a dakka jet from GW to be sent to my home. It's an hour car ride for me to my nearest GW store and I'm wondering if anyone remembers any kind of promise GW made that if you ordered it by a certain date and time it would be at your doorstep by this date? I have already seen batreps go up on the internet with PAINTED dakkajets from guys who I would assume DON'T own stores. I'm a little peeved because mine STILL won't be here until the eighth and I ordered mine the day you could start ordering them....
So should I be upset or has the happened to everyone?

I'm assuming you ordered online. You ordered the box, they gave you a shipping estimate and you hit okay. You knew what you were in for when you ordered it. It isn't like you paid for overnight shipping and it has been this long. You paid for normal shipping and are experiencing what you paid for.

GW doesn't make that kind of promise. No place does outside of pizza delivery/

Honestly, depending on where the warehouse is, how backlogged their shipping quotas are, and where your house is, it could take up to 2 weeks.

Usually they give you a shipping estimate, for me it's 5-8 business days.

While i see your point I think maybe my post was vague? The only reason I'm asking was an "order by noon of wednesday (last wednesday) and receive it by this date" I have ordered multiple times from GW and realize it could be coming from anywhere available but when ordering it stated order by a certain date and time (last wednessay at noon) and have it by the fourth I believe it was. The tracking link when I ordered doesn't work and I had to search through the three major parcel services to even find who my package was sent through. So while I understand it's not a pizza delivery I was more inquiring if anyone else saw this on the page or if maybe because WD sales were high it was withheld. This is not meant to be a bash GW threaad just an inquiry.

Call GW and find out. They will know more than some random guys on the internet. Of all GW's problems, Customer Service is not one.
