Subject: Best Dread Load Out for BT?

Hey guys what just wondering what you guys thought the best load out for a dreadnought would be in the BT codex as i was looking to run one as i was just given a forgeworld BT dread from a friend and am fairly eager to use it.
I was thinking Venerable w/ ML and MM, and possibly throwing him in a drop pod. Any and all suggestions welcome.

Not sure if BT can, But TW auto cannons are boss. So if you can take it. 4 str 7 attacks. With some luck you can take out most stuff shot of a land raider.

Alas, no TL autocannons for BT. Although a Venerable dreadnought can have tank hunter with a missile launcher and lascannons, for 165 points.

I'd also recommend this, with this build you can pop pretty much any kind of vehicle in the game.

This...this right here. A S9 shot and a S10 shot (equivilant S mind you) against mech is nice, the ML can also be fired as frag for inatnry that get too close. Keep in mind you only get one ven dread in BT so the other slots I would take temies.

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re on a constant Crusade, keeping it real for the Emperor and not bumming around like the other guys. They hate psykers and can’t ally with them. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.

Even with the TL LC and ML, I would consider a pod so he will be able to shoot the turn he comes in. Personally, I like my DCCW (even though I only have AoBR and use him with a heavy flamer) and put extra armor on him, that way he can punch (or kick) someone in the face if he can't shoot.

^This^
Why would you want a drop pod? He'll come on late whereas he can just deploy and actually hit things.
