Hello folks, considder this here my introduction.

My name is Aprion, and I've been into the wargaming hobby for some 15 odd years now. With a few breaks inbetween.
I live in the Netherlands in Europe, and while I do speak a fair bit of English, I'll ask you up front to pardon any terrible grammar or spelling mistakes.

I was introduced to the Warhammer hobby by a guy I met at my part time summer job way back in 1996. He played a High Elf army, but he also had some old chaos models lying around.
Wich he sold to me ( for way to much I later learned ) Anyway thats how I rolled into the hobby. I eventually ditched those chaos Fantasy models in favor of the shiny new 40K Tau GW released.

That was my first 40K army. And over the next year or so it slowly grew to become a nice 2000 points force. I didn't play many games with it though. Mainly because there weren't many players around where I live. Eventually I started to look into other armies, tried several. But didn't like any that I tried. I started a half baked tyranid force ( I always liked them gribbly bugs ) And then I said farewell to the hobby for a time. Close to a year or so.

I'm not exactly sure what brought me back to the hobby, but after that year or so I decided to give Warhammer Fantasy another try. And thats when I became a servant of the Horned Rat. I started a Skaven army. And it is still my main fantasy force. Though I have branched out since then and started both a Dwarf and Vampire Counts army. Though those are still relatively small. And I plan to start a small Orge Kingdom force eventually.

I got back into 40K eventually as well and started what became the biggest army in my collection so far. The Orks. Oh I do so love the Orks. Not only for their sense of humor and brutality, but because they give me the chance to slap together the weirdest and ugliest vehicles imaginable and STILL be completely acceptable The Orks have been my main love ever since. The army ( Should that be WAAAGH? ) has swollen to a whopping 4000 points, and I dont plan to stop adding to it untill it reaches 10.000 points. ( I like me some Apocalypse )

I've put my Tau army on the shelf untill GW sees fit to update them. I Started a Grey Knights army last November. And I'm debating wether to start a new Space Wolf or Necron army. ( As you probably guessed the hobby has turned into a real money sink for me ) The choice Is kinda important, because ive decided to limit myself to a maximum of 5 armies per game system ( Fantasy and 40K ) Otherwise I'll NEVER get anything painted Not to mention this hobby is expensive enough as it is . And in case you're wondering why I don't pick both Space Wolves and Necrons, since those two would make 5. It's because one slot has already been reserved for the Tyranids

Wow this turned into a long ramble. ^^;
So yeah.. thats a bit of my gaming and collecting history.

Ork WAAAGH Zapzog: roughly 4000 points and ever growing. Tau Cadre of Zuran'Ki: 3000 points. Grey Knights Interdiction Force Galeon : 2500 points. Tyranid Hive Fleet Crateria: 2500 Points. The Host of Hadrekon: 1500 points. Catachan 44th Swamp hunters. 800 points.

2000 points Skaven Army. Arcsqueeks Horde 1000 points Vampire Counts Army. Duke Valmai's Court. 1000 Points Dwarven Army. Bhor Grimhammers Throng. Planning to get some Ogres later this year.
Curse you Snake-eyes!
