I thought just share the experience of converting something old into something new. I've been inspired by so many others I'd like to return the favor. Comments are welcome. I uploaded a gallery with several steps and an almost fully painted end result.

2500 Brothers of Sanguinor
2500 Purifiers 750 : Bad Wolves
Thank you guys. I even "improved " the heavy flamer. The things is I wanted some support for IG with a drop troop theme but was not happy with the current look of LR. I will build another punisher and an extra vanquisher the same way. Haven't decided on a paint scheme.
Any chance when you build the next two that we can get some in progress shots? Curious to see how you went about making a reversed russ, or did you follow a guide you could link us too?
Just a handful...
Emperor's Imperial Meat Shield...
no guide other then a imagination. I have made a series of progress photos but I'm new to DD so don't know yet how to post them all. Maybe you can help me with that.
It all started with not liking the original and looking for options on the net. Some just turned the turret and some made some not so good looking front ends. All I did was think "Lego". Use just what's in the box and build it in a different way. So all I added was a few strips of plasticard to fill the holes and add some bits from an IG heavy weapon squad for extra detail. It's that easy!
So far the first Russ (which can be either an Executioner or and Eradicator) is almost finished (bar a few bits of plasticard) and the second one is due to arrive this weekend to start on the next one of the two - which is going to be a stock LRBT / Vanquisher.
