So thanks to you guys the Infinity section here on Dakka is going nuts (in a good way). I've got the Infinity rank tracks active now and I'll try to get Infinity specific abbreviations added to the Dakka glossary soon, but I got thinking:

One thing we don't have are any Infinity faction badges for people to put into their sigs to show their love to their favorite Infinity faction like we do (mainly) for 40K. Y'know, stuff like:

, etc.


So just wondering, are there any of you Infinity lovers out there who wanted to make faction badges for use here on Dakka?

The files need to be a GIF file, 15x15 pixels large with a transparent background.


If you do want to make these, just post the final product in this thread or by PMing them to me directly (your choice). Or if any of you have connections with Corvus Belli, maybe they have a graphic designer in-house who would be willing to whip some of these up really quick as a way to promote their game?

I'd certainly be wiling to explain the concept to them if it would help (but I thought I'd just see if any of you wanted to do it first).

Not unless you want to do individual troops. Probably not needed though.

Sky Fury's look great and that'll be the best quality you can get at that size

Von Skyfury, would it be possible for you to do the Evolved Intelligence and Exrah logos for the Combined Army, too?

That would be amazing

They don't have sectorial lists yet, but I would think will eventually, and are distinct branches of the Combined Army.

Edit: Although, glancing at the above, I think CDK's have a clearer round edge / are a tad crisper, which is nice.

Another thing to improve the Infinity (and Malifaux) subforum: We should add a sticky, where painting blogs with respective content are collected with link (and maybe sample pics), one blog per post, open for anyone to post but moderated and deleted if not a blog presentation. So painting blogs don't get buried among all those GW threads. How about that?

I have not added them yet as I was hoping maybe somebody else would be willing/able to do a bit of a cleanup on those that seem to have inconsistent edging (given that these will essentially be a permanent part of Dakka).

Basically many of these seem to have a bit of edging in some places but not others...that edging color either needs to be fleshed out all the way around the circle definitively, or removed. In addition, since these are all circles, the pixel shape for each should be identical, yet there are some that are clearly not symmetrical.

So maybe since Von Skyfury took the initiative to get things up to this point there is someone else out there willing to pick up the ball and do a clean-up pass?

A PNG format would solve this in no time =P

I can do a png of everything but i forgot my flash drive with all my files at home :( I can possibly do something tomorrow or Monday.

If it can be a PNG, it's incredibly easy and can be done in a couple minutes (Thank you Army Builder =P)

Do it as PNG's then - at worst you've only 'wasted' a few minutes, at best, the job's done and you're more a hero than you already are!
