Unlike the many varieties of trolls that prefer to blend into their environments, a storm troll primed with galvanic energy and ready to attack is a blazing beacon of power, intimidating well beyond its size. Deadly lightning erupts from the array of natural conductors that runs the length of its spine, playing along its sides before bolting from its mouth at anything that arouses the troll’s ire.

The Sons of Bragg swagger across western Immoren like living legends, each mighty with both sword and voice. The Sons are heard long before their arrival, booming mighty chants that resound off trees and mountains. Wrathar leads the chorus of his brothers Tor and Rhudd. Their voices join in perfect harmony to belt out powerful chants that sustain them despite impossibly grievous wounds. On their own each brother is formidable, but together they are an army of three.

Few warbeasts survive long enough to distinguish themselves in the service of the skorne, but the fiercely intelligent and disciplined Tiberion has fought alongside Tyrant Xerxis for over a decade. Because the titan’s intractable nature made him almost impossible to train, his original handlers nearly put him to death. Xerxis sensed an extraordinary fighting spirit in him, though, and took it upon himself to break the beast. Now Tiberion serves his master Xerxis with all the devotion of a sworn soldier, standing immovable against waves of enemies even as he shatters entire formations with his powerful tetsubo.

SPECIAL NOTE: The Tiberion character titan heavy warbeast upgrade comes in a blister (PIP 74061). The Tiberion character titan heavy warbeast upgrade is NOT a complete model. Players will need a Skorne Cannoneer/Gladiator/Sentry Titan Heavy Warbeast (PIP 74057) in addition to this kit. A player may field one Tiberion in a Skorne army.

Whooooooaaaa, Storm Troll, out of nowhere!

Looks like it's a September release (whereas Sons of Bragg are July)- and plastic!

They've updated their text to show that's it's plastic, btw, as you suspected (Warstore had it right initially, PP had it wrong):

Hm... Have been away from my trolls for about half a year, but saw the Mountain King and was rather impressed. But gotta say, this is a real let-down.

Why are their faces all... Weird. Both the Storm Troll and the Sons have kinda clay like mouths and an almost Asian quality to their eyes which I find very weird and not fitting the previously established look. Or is it just something I'm imagining?

Was also VERY disappointed in both the new light beasts for trolls and the new Blitzer and Mauler kits, so guess they have changed their to something I just don't like... Sad

EDIT: The hands also seem to have strange proportions when compared to the old metal sculpts.

You're the first person I've seen who doesn't like the storm troll (it was pictured in Domination, so people already knew what it looked like). The Sons of Bragg you may have a point about, but I still like them

And thankfully, I already have metal impalers/axers, so I have no need for the uni-body plastic lights. This looks to be a stand-alone plastic light, hence it being able to have so much more character!

The Storm Trolls face looks fine to me. The Sons are a bit weird, but they're rock stars and rock stars have weird faces. I'm more concerned with the Tiny legs on the Sons. Between that and the growing arms/fists on the Storm Troll, I think it's just more of the Trollkins slow decent into Orkishness that's been slipping into some of their more recent sculpts.

Well, I like some of the Storm Troll. The loincloth is awesome, I think the growths from the back are okay and the tattoos are nicely painted. But the face really weirds me out, but I think it's the Asian eyes (not that I mind them, just didn't expect them on a troll ). I also think his right fist (the one close to us) looks weird, but could be the photo. PP always seem to photograph really poorly, so always try to check their models out on the table before judging them.

And now that you mention it, the three tenors do have tiny legs... Now that's gonna weird me out as well

...is it me or are trolls picking up "we're getting close to a scottish cygnar" vibe?

Like AduroT said... They've had the scottish feel for awhile, besides wearing the clan tartans, the Trolls also have caber tossing, drums, and a penchant for hard drinks (see Borka and Kenny).

They're just missing consistent kilts across the board

That storm troll is sweet.

Could be a added model to the 'needed' list for my trollbloods.

Pumped about both the Storm Troll and Sons. Definitely going to pick these up.

Yeah, storm troll is my favorite-looking light warbeast for trolls. Hope he's way beefier than the (otherwise excellent) pyre!

Storm Troll looks great.

Sons of Braag I don't like. What tiny little legs.

Tiberion is "meh." Looks as he should, which is a normal Titan with different gear. Not particularly impressive. I'm sure there's lots of little details I'm missing, but at first glance and without a side by side comparison I think he looks pretty uninspired.

Storm Troll is way cooler than any other troll light.
Sons are the worst sculpts I have saw in a while. They are awful.

Tibbers is not bad for the new character types but Id rather characters were done the old way

Storm Troll looks great, and the Sons are ok, nothing to prevent me from picking them up. Trolls have always had a slightly Orkish look to them, so I don't see a problem here. I'm still not a fan of the plastic Dire Troll, but I've been happy with the other releases seen so far.

Oh aye they've been scottish for a long time, since boomhowler at least but lightning & more shooty? The cygnar bit I was questioning

They've had an elemental theme to their lights since Mk. 1, it's only really surprising that it took this long to get a lightning troll.

Add in that their greatest hero (Horfar Grimmr, who originally wielded Madrak's doom axe) was tortured and turned into Bane Lord Tartarus? Yeah, even in death, they be Scottish.

Laughing man pretty much hit this nail on the head, but considering the mix of melee and ranged elemental trolls they've had, lightning troll was a given.

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

A good deal of it may be the paintjob, but I really dig that Storm Troll. I can take or leave the other models.
