Just realised that I've posted nothing about the upcoming tournament weekend on Dakka. Oops...



Following on from the success of the Spring Challenge, the Summer event will take place at the end of June/start of July, now at Clifton Road Games in Exeter, Devon.



The weekend will consist of:


A one day ITS tournament on Saturday.
Saturday evening gaming, possibly involving zombies.
Non-ITS gaming on Sunday.

This means that people who can't make it to the full weekend still get to attend the full tournament, plus Sunday can be used for grudge matches/playing people you missed playing on the Saturday. It'll also give the tournament organiser the chance to get some games in.


The current plan for Saturday:

ITS Tournament.
200 points for faster games and making it slightly easier for new players.
YAMS missions.
Three rounds.
Two-list format*
24 places.
As many different table layouts as we can manage.

*Both lists must be from the same faction but can't be from different Sectorials.

Open gaming on the Sunday will cost £3.50, payable on the day.

The Autumn Challenge will be taking place in late October, exact dates and venue to be confirmed and will be a campaign/team weekend but it will get it's own thread closer to the time.

Real pain in the bottom that I won't be able to attend as I was really looking forward to it..

We've now got 14 players for the tournament on Saturday plus another half a dozen or so coming on Sunday.

Sounds awesome, I need to find a place like that here in the US.
