JB: I like the concept of a free Shrike roaming through the treetops of the jungle. I'm not sure that I like the idea of a real Shrike sitting on my couch eating my Skittles.

And I'm considering making a retractable pool cover (with the help of corpses since I know gak about redstone circuits and pistons).

My plans for pistons are to use them to make a secret entrance to Skavenblight (my base, look for the big wooden superstructure, there will be a huge bell there eventually (unless you're a griefer, in that case don't look for the big wooden superstructure where there will eventually be a huge bell).
It's pretty cool so far, large circular main chamber, and off to the one side is a vertical tunnel (ALL NATURAL) that goes down to lava lake level, plus some more caves (as of yet uncleared) to boot!. Not found a bad-ass place to locate my lair though...
