got a weird idea.

say i take an overlord. (or a SC overlord) and buy him a court, and a CCB.

lets say, imotekh, a lord with WS, MSS, weave, and phase shifter, a lancetek and a veil tek.

i assign the lancetek to warriors
i assign the veiltek to immortals. imotekh as an IC can leave the squad and say he joins another immortal squad. leaving the basic lord alone. can that lord embark and utilize the CCB?

No.
CCBs can only transport ICs. Iirc normal lords are not ICs.

Rigeld is correct tbe CCB can only transport IC and the lord is not an IC.
