It's a nice change to see an entire pre-heresy army, and putting the Dark back into Dark Angels.
I still don't like the style of back pack on the standard marines but they have had 10,000 years to perfect it!

Love them, rarely do I see such a well done complete pre-heresy army. Best part is you can also run them as chaos since you can assume for that purpose that they're the fallen angels.

Oh man, awesome! DA were my first collection back when I was a kid... they were sold off a decade ago and I have moved on to BA since, but I still have a soft spot for them.

Your paintjobs and schemes are so crisp and clean, it really looks great. I hope, as time goes on you can go back in and add in bits to adorn them a touch more without going over the top. Chequers and a few seals and other knightly touches as time goes on would be great.

Love the little shields on the zweihander guys. Understated, but adds a lot of flavour to the models. Cool idea.

@ssspectre good call, missed that. It is indeed subtle and quite sophisticated, I really like that detail. I like the idea of a Space Marine Backhand slapping an enemy and with his Reinforced vambrace and outright breaking it's neck.
