One thing I can say though, as a store owner, is that sales on 40K dropped big time in the last month as everyone is waiting on the edition change. So, I can understand trying to keep it secret from that perspective. I just wish they communicated with their customers a bit better, it would help their image and establish good will.

6th edition is coming out? WD doesn't have anything on it, either does the GW website? Just a couple of mysterious videos.

You mentioned Collector's and Gamer's editions. What extras do those have over the main book's regular edition?

I think Gamer is standard, and Collectors is just all snazzy like, possibly with some posters and such inside it.

We got off the phone with our rep today, and we are FOR SURE getting 6th ed in a few weeks, we got the SKUs, pricing, Allies confirmations, etc.

According to the other 6th thread, Gamer's has dice, a rulebook and satchel.

Collector's (if it the same as fantasy) would be a fancy book (good paper, etc) in a nice case with a faux leather cover.

When will you ship? Not to sound like a COMPLETE fanboy; but I'm willing to pay the extra $13 (figured in your shipping and GW's free shipping) to get it on the release date.

For those interested in what might be in the gamer's and collecter's editions, do a google image search for the warhammer versions to get an idea of what you can probably expect.

If they gave us more information earlier, people would probably be buying the stuff they need to adapt their armies to the new edition, which would probably come somewhat closeto washing with the peeps putting a hold on all purchases till they had a book in hand. Most likely they just want to put all of those purchases on the next quarter so they can show as large of a revenue gain as possible for that quarter.

Alas, the store I will be at on the 30th is selling their's for 10 dollars off. If I ordered from you, I'd save...2 bucks. :( Wish I were local to you!

Our store started a week ago. I didn't get 25% off, but I did get entered into a raffle for a free 2000pt army.

Reece will you also be selling the seperate template and dice sets as well? I'd like to pre order those and the book but not the collectors, haha.
