Not a fan of your razorbacks. The others look good though.

Pretty cool, though a bit basic. Nice work for one day!

I feel the razorbacks and rhino's could use a splash of colour like the land raider

Airbrush for the win!
They look clean, cohesive, and pretty standard.
I think its solid work for a day, but the Landraider's light work is significantly more dramatic then anything else.So much so it makes me think you should do the whole panel yellow on each transport. It would be a nice contrast and break up the yellow.

Even if you leave it how it is, its solild work for minimum time put in. How do the MEQ look / plan to look?

You are off to a good start, but since they aren't finished I'm not sure why they are in the Showcase.

Yeah, you need some more color on those.

Well. They were finished. I was content on how they looked.
Under normal circumstances these would be considered as finished models. I would put them up against any non professionally painted armies gladly.
So....i am confused as to how you can say you don't think they belong here.........

However, after the mixed reactions and comments, I will be going back and making all the Rhino Chassis's in line with the Land Raider.

The Razor Backs are not glued down but I have marked them all so I don't get confused as to which goes on which.

The whole idea behind the paint job is that no matter what I did with the airbrush, it was going to look better than my hand painted versions.
I was tired of what i had. I will for sure put the yellow in. I may go and Put squad Markings on the top hatches as well.

So many metal boxes, so little time until 6th edition.

Again, possible to try some red lighting effect on the lascannons front?

i will think about it. I'm kind of wary about doing it.
I will post update pics tonight.
Whole army looks a lot different

There is much more depth to the Paint. Photographing seems to wash the depth out of models badly.

I think they look bloody brilliant. I could spend days and days with a paintbrush and never get them as good as this. Not sure why you got such a mixed reaction

I think the big reason people are saying that they look unfinished is that you haven't painted any of the details, you only airbrushed the armour plates various colours and then did some dirt weathering.

I personally would have to agree, while they look really well airbrushed and painted, they are personally incomplete.

That's a lot of moneys worth of models painted in 24 hours.

Also agree that they do lack a bit of detail work. Aside from that they look great.

This.
I think you have done a impressive task of getting tanks on the table fast, cleanly, cohesively. They have clean color. If your happy with them, nice work. I think if you want to take it a step higher, consider the details on the weapons, the mini icon's like on the Landraiders, the lens on the Landraider sponsons, there are not bolters on the Rhinos, so you have no where to draw line of sight from if you shoot them nor a single smoke launcher. However, if you like them where they are at, I agree they will be better then 50% of any armies you encounter. If the infantry is done to similar standards, it will look sharp and cohesive.

However, if you goto a Grand Tournment, your paint will probably be below where you expect as you technically don't have cohesive level of detail, your tanks don't have the weapon options (unless you have magnetized them and they are off to the side of something, where if they are awesome job as I love magnetized weapons). The weapon / light effects shows you know what your doing, so why not set a future goal for yourself in the next few months after the infantry are done going to the next level?

As for it being in Showcase: I think it should. You've done nice work you can be proud of, and I think its very nice to look at
