I would actually like my beloved rat men to do more then simply

1. Invade surface
2. Win for a bit
3. Get stopped for no apparent reason by a much smaller force
4. Treachery and in-fighting coupled by the sudden incredible fighting abilities of whatever land they happen to be in drives them back
5. No long lasting effect on the world occurs
6. Try again next time

All i want to see is some long term impacts of the Skaven, the fact that the majority of the empire doesn't believe in their existence i find to be one of the most absurd facets of the fluff, lemme play it out.

I know right, it seems odd that not a singe dwarf with there constants grumblings never once grumbled to an empire citizen "oh yeah those rat things that you say drag off people in the night, yeah those are real, but hold on a second im fighting one of those tiny green creatures that eats magical mushrooms that gives them super strength and or magical powers, oh and they spin" It simply seems like a lazy writing device to allow the Skaven to do damage of WAAAAAAAGGHHHHH like proportions but then never get blamed for it, THEY LEVELED NULN FOR FETHS SAKE, Gorbad IronClaw leveled Nuln too and hes remembered and forever. But the Skaven do it and apparently the empire state troops fought with their eyes closed that day., then ignored any and all bodies they found .
