I saw this image on the heresy rumours thread but no thread for it's self. I think it deserves that.

Vaktathi gave this translation of the left list

Space Marines
Space Wolves
Dark Angels
Blood Angels
Grey Knights
Black Templars
Chaos Space Marines
Demons of Chaos
Tau Empire
Eldar
Dark Eldar
Sisters of Battle
Necrons
Orks
Imperial Guard
Tyranids

And without proper translation i think its pretty obvious that left to right the top row reads.

Biomancy

Divination

Pyromancy

Telekinesis

Telepathy

These categories all exist in the 40k RPG's as well

I'm both orderly and rational. I value control, information, and order. I love structure and hierarchy, and will actively use whatever power or knowledge I have to maintain it. At best, I am lawful and insightful; at worst, I am bureaucratic and tyrannical.

Its hard to be awesome, when your playing with little plastic men.
Welcome to Fantasy 40k

If you think your important, in the great scheme of things. Do the water test.

Put your hands in a bucket of warm water,
then pull them out fast. The size of the hole shows how important you are.
I think we should roll some dice, to see if we should roll some dice, To decide if all this dice rolling is good for the game.

Interesting... so Eldar get access to damn near no psychic abilities... Well that just sank my hopes and dreams for this edition.

I'm liking the sound of Pyromancy. I want Fireballs and flame templates everywhere please. And also the power to make enemy IC spontaneously combust.

I am also really confused by this. Vanilla Space Marines have access to twice the number of categories as Eldar? Here's to hoping that the Space Elves make up for it with a lot more options in their two categories.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

They do still get the powers that are currently in their codex so it's not like they're being neutered or anything.

Chaos don't get access to Divination or Biomancy?

Tzeentch sorcerors can't grasp looking into the future?

Nurgle sorcerors can't manipulate biology?

Hmm. Still, the fact Chaos Daemons have NO access to these powers suggests that chaos powers are handled slightly differently - god-specific decks would be my guess

Eldar powers have always been focused on very specific styles of powers so it would be weird to have them suddenly have access to a bunch of damage dealing abilities, for example.

We all still know too little about this to jump to the conclusion that a faction that has access to more psychic disciplines has a big upper hand. For all we know, the two disciplines the Eldar have are the ones with all the good powers!

Very excited overall to see all this craziness. I wish the 23rd would hurry up and get here followed quickly by the 30th!

How about everybody talk about this in the general "Rumors about 6th edition" thread instead of making a new rumor about every leak about 6th. Or do people not check threads anymore before they post stuff?

Granted, we don't know much yet, but I'd figure Bonesinging would fit very well in the biomancy section. Just a thought.

The problem is, for uber-threads to work the original posters have to be involved with updating the thread titles to let people know where the new info is in the thread. That hasn't been happening with that Heresy Online thread, although I've added the info to the thread title now, so we can lock this puppy.
