As per the Subject, wayland games are taking courier delivered pre-orders for all the 6th ed stuff, the book and the gubbins. However thier site does seem to be experiencing some difficulties........

Gamers and Collectors are apparantly Direct Only, and I have a sneaking suspicion the other stuff (Cards, Tape Measure, Dice etc.) might end up being as well. Wayland are just taking advance quotes for stocking the items on release, it's entirely possible that all non Rulebook pre-orders will be cancelled. Got my Rulebook pre-order in but for the extra £2 I will go Direct for the tape measure just to ensure I get one.

Whatever happened to Wayland's big "Rest of World" plans? Just quietly faded into nothingness?
I remember they were initially stating it'd be a week or two after the embargo before they could do it, then they were talking about moving warehouses and keeping the stock separate, but then they went completely quiet.

Wayland are perpetually moving warehouses. I think they just have two that they constantly move between to justify the delays and service issues.
that's why even a £10 discount on the rulebook isn't tempting me to buy from them

Haha, a possibility but I find this store pretty reliable. When I pre-ordered my necron doom scythe, (on the friday) because it wasn't going to reach me until the monday due to the weekend they personally drove 18 miles to come to my house to hand deliver it on the sunday! I thought that was pretty awesome of them so will be getting my purchases from them now on I reckon.

And I thought GW shipping was insane! Dicebucket lists shipping to Japan for the rulebook as $6030.95. I think I'll look elsewhere.
Edit: I give up. For now. GW Japan charges double the UK price and I'm too proud to let them get away with it. US sellers seem to have delivery to Oz but not Japan. Anyone else had any luck?

Might be worth checking eBay in a week or so. I'm sure there'll be a few up by then. There's a couple with US$19.95 shipping now, but they're auctions, so I'll avoid them for now.

I eventually got it for 80USD including shipping. A fine saving of $5950.95 over Dicebucket
