Ok so im trying to put together a 1000pt list thats fun to play and can be at least a little competitive.

This is what I got so far:

Necron Overlord

HoDespair
+VoD

Deathmarks x5

Necron Immortals x10 (Gauss)
+Night Scythe

Necron Warriors x5
+ Night Scythe

Annihilation Barge
Annihilation Barge

The Overlord goes with the Immortal squad. HoD goes with the Deathmarks for that nasty AP1 template that wounds on a 2+ against the marked squad.

I need help spending the last 140pts....I know I need some anti-tanks....so some scarabs and maybe a WS and ResOrb on my OL?.....or maybe some scarabs a spyder and just a WS on my OL? HoDestruction?.....any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

So with your 140 points, give the overlord a war scythe and barge, leaving 50 points remaining.

With the 50 points, you could get a destructek, but they'll be pretty much useless in a Nightscythe. So, get a StormTek with Voltaic staff and either chuck that in the Deathmark or Immortal squad.

Any points left over go for Weave on the O'lord (even if you need to drop an immortal)

You think one OL with a WS on a barge is enough anti tank?

S7 and 2D6 for AP is pretty brutal at 1000pts. with a armour13 CCbarge, is pretty durable.
Other than that most of our army has guass...

Also, why wouldnt the warriors be in a ghost ark? can rapid fire out and cant get shot in. and you should try and get 10 in!

Personally id drop the death marks and get the 10 immortals with the HoD and tesla a squad to peices. saving you a 100 point night scythe.

Dont over-buff the O.Lord, by the time your done you might as well get a charactor. A barge with keep him safe.
