So, what are your new and maniacal plans for the new Psychic Powers? While they are random, and you have to reroll if you roll a double on the table, there are some delightful opportunities that are possible.

Puppet Mastering a Doom Scythe, or a Leman Russ, and blow up their own stuff. Or using the Iron Arm ability to make your favorite Psyker (Swarmlord? Mephiston? :O) get +3 S/T - to a insane Strength of 9! Or using Hallucination on a mob of Orks and cackling as they hit themselves 30 times!

What do you all think of the new Psychic Powers and the tactical opportunities that are open? What ones would you trade immediately for the Primaris Power?

Page 418, all the way in back.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

GKs can make good use of the Divination powers. Rerolls and 4+ invuln saves? Yummy!

I'm kind of sad that my Vanilla Marines can't use it in their gunline, but, Telepathy's spells are great, too.

I'm already thinking of testing Mephiston with 2x Biomancy/1x Divination. A str 9/T9 mephiston that rerolls failed saves and can leech life? Some seriously cheeseball stuff with good rolls lol.... (thinking of calling it "Undead Mcfiston")

And you roll for these powers before deployment. So in tournaments you can cherry pick your lore to suit your foe.

Yep. Can't see Telepathy being that bad against any army, though. Invisibility giving you a +2 Cover Save in anything other than open ground is great. A large group hitting themselves, including any power fists they have is great too. (Make nobs auto hit themselves with their own Klaws. Make space marines inflict 5 wounds to themselves (average).) You can also make them stand there and do nothing, including fighting in close combat.

Or, remove fearless of Death Company! Or, for non Space Marines, make a blob or what have you auto rally and be fearless, especially now that there is no fearless penalty.

Make things WS1 if they fail a Leadership test. Or even the baseline, Psychic Scream, can potentially do 9 un saveable wounds to MEQ / Terminators. (3d6 LD with no cover/armor saves. Still get invulnerable, but still.. 5++ is still going to cause some to die!)

Puppet Master, since, I'm assuming it can be used against Vehicles, would be very amusing to have a Death Ray, or Demolisher Cannon, or what have you, shooting at the opponent's own lines.

And Dominate, which forces an enemy unit to take a LD Test to do anything. They fail one, and they can do nothing that turn.

The only thing I can see beating it for a Shooting army is Divination, letting you ignore cover saves, get on Ballistic Skill shooting for Overwatch, etc. But, I'm playing Vanilla Marines, so, not going to dwell on that! >.>

First one that pops into my head is a Primaris Psyker with the psychic shriek telepathy power. Hit any non super invul squad with a psyker battle squad weaken resolve and you can wipe an entire meq squad....though you could just shoot them with a demolisher cannon i guess. Thinking on it it would be great for ICs. Or for piling wounds on small units.

40k is as exciting as riding a pony, which doesn't sound very exciting.......

But the pony is 300 feet tall and covered in CHAINSAWS!
