Have you guys started working on a new updated data thingy for the new rule book? If so do you have an estimated time frame for it to be done? If not is anyone going to do one? I assume this update is done like codex updates and the users make the data files correct?

Someone in the ab40k lot will do a rulebook update (whilst not faffing the army profiles at the same time.)

They have for the previous two editions I'm aware of (didn't have AB before that).

Whilst it is possible to create/modify the data files (they are only html), it is a lot of work to create something that doesn't break another codex because of the way aspects of the files are linked.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Thank you guys. Yeah I know about the website to get the files. I just did not know if this would be something taking a really long time or like said a month or so. I started in 5th and AB was already updated when I bought the program.
