It says they're common on super-heavies. So, like, titans and baneblades and gak. Probably nothing that's not apocalypse

It's the new standard weapon in the next Mat Ward codex.
But seriously, this is interesting. It was confined to Titans before, will we now see it on Imperial vehicles?

Unnessesarily extravegant word of the week award goes to jcress410 for this:

Isn't there leman-russ like tank armed with it in one of the IA books?

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

I think the Stormlord super-heavy is the smallest model with a mega-bolter.

Hopefully we'll see a 6th-edition-compatible version of Apocalypse soon!

I could have sworn I once saw a leman russ-sized tank with a megabolter in an apoc game. Might have been a conversion though.

the Vulcan Mega bolter is a weapon enployed by Super Heavys.

Its mounted on the Stormlord, the Macharius heavy Tank chassis (vulcan mega bolter in the turret in-place of battle cannons).

and every kind of titan you can think of.

Its what a Punisher Cannon wants to be.... punisher is the closest thing you can get to a Vulcan on a Leman Russ, it has 5 more shots but is weaker.

somethign tells me in a normal battle the power of a V.M.B would shred through anything short of terminators and even termis would be in danger from the sheer weight of fire. That and armor 13+ would ignore the rounds and armor 12 would be glanced to death.... but kiss your Rhinos good bye, they will get multched along with anything on foot.

"SIR! Are you sure this will work!?"
"I HAVE NO IDEA, PULL THE TRIGGER!!!" 91st comms chatter.

One of the shadowsword variants has a Vulcan Mega Bolter. They are also found on titans.

I'm not. The vulcan mega-bolter is about half the size of that tank, it's pretty easy to spot

the baal pred does not have a mega bolter. it has a twin linked assault cannon - though they have sorta the same style...

Hum, I have done a quick bit of Googleage and found...

Was on a flikr photo account.

Not sure if I like that or not TBH, turret looks a bit TOO big for the Russ. Maybe with the VMB cut down a bit to make it somewhat smaller, otherwise, just seems to not be quite right.

Only other thing I can think of with a big rotary cannon style gun on it is the "original" punisher variant which is this thing;-

Would look ok if you did this to it;-

but with Punisher cannons either side (Hydra stylee but still obviously not really an AA tank)

I have found a few pics of LR's running Megabolter turrets but not sure if that what the OP meant, would think its highly unlikely.
