OK. So Flying MCs ignore dangerous and difficult terrain.

If you're flying MCs deep strike in while in swooping mode and scatter on top of difficult / dangerous terrain, do they need to roll a 1?

Id say yes... You still deep striked in, despite in flying mode.

I would say no as you ignore the difficult/dangerous terrain because taking the dangerous terrain test would not be ignoring the terrain.

If you are swooping then you ignore Difficult and Dangerous terrain. I see no reason why Deepstrike swooping would alter that.

I think it's pretty clear, the rules for Move through Cover state: a model with Move Through Cover automatically passes Dangerous Terrain tests.

So even if you had to take the test, you'd still pass it automatically.
