So I just got my rulebook delivered today, flipped through it a little and so did my colleague, when he noticed several images where miss-printed. Quite a few pages of the miniature showcase section (notably pages 262, 263, 266, 267, 270, 274 and 275) have a severe case of an overlayed ghost image that is shifted vertically by 1-2mm making the entire image looked blurred. In some of the pages it are literally all images, in others about half. Has anybody else encountered this or am I one of the few 'lucky' ones?

Guess I'll be contacting GW to see about a replacement, although I'm not sure yet if I'm bothered enough by this (none of the affected pages contain armies I actually play, nor am I likely to look at them again in the foreseeable future).

just checked my book, and i did not notice anything like that. perhaps you just got a bad copy?.

I notised this on one picture, I dont play either of those armies so im not that concerned though, ps darthspader I love the hulk smashing loki animation, best part of the movie

Yeah, you probably just got a misprinted book. If it bugs you, I'm sure you can get a replacement without much effort.

I have the same problems, maybe it's because we're Dutch.. Not sure if I'm that bothered about it to get a new one though

I think the Dutch thing is more of a coincidence feluca, I ordered mine through wayland, while my brother got a copy from the GW store and his is fine.

its possible if there was an alingment problem with the books on the press, it can cause double imaging. (if the book is moved a fraction of a measurement in any direction while printing, possibly caused by an error in equipment. everyone here, has had no such issues and we have looked specfically at the pages you mentioned. 12 books and no problems, so most likley just a printing error in one of the batches. im sure a local GW store will exchange it for you.

I have that effect on one picture in the hobby section, but the rest of the book is perfect.

The black is out of alignment on a few pages in my book. Makes the pictures look blurry.

Not fussed as I can still read the rules okay.

I finished flipping through the entire book, didn't find any other instances of miss printed images. I was planning on visiting my local GW store during the weekend anyways, so i'll ask about a possible replacement there. If I'd have to send it back by mail that would be more effort than its worth to me though.
