So, back in May when GW announced that they would be closing the option to group order through a store, I decided to buy in to the last group shipment. Specifically, I ordered the 5-man Mk. 4 squad and the apothecary set. The order was sent on May 31, as the store manager says. It is now July 3rd, and he says FW has not even shipped yet. Has anyone else experienced a delay this long for shipping from FW. Granted, it was a group order, but not shipping for one month is ridiculous.

They are having trouble keeping those Apothecary's in stock, they are the culprit believe it or not...

Common with FW is that some piece is out of stock, and they have not yet cast any new pieces. 1 single thing may delay the whole order. Whoever is in charge of the order needs to get ahold of FW and ask.

Still, a month is a long time to not cast a set.

Last year it took five months for them to fill an order of Deff Rollas, some Marine armor variants, and a couple of Dreadnought Drop Pods.

FW stopped splitting orders then? Back when I had Elysian fever they'd send me everything in split shipments.

That is terrifying. I hope that it is not the case this time.

And BrookM, it was a group order through a GW bunker, so I am not sure if they would split that order.

I would be asking for a refund. A month is completely unacceptable unless they contacted you shortly after you placed the order to warn you that there would be a long delay.

There are so many cool things up on FW's site, but it's the stories like this that pop up every now and then that keep me from ordering from them.

They've got a great sense of humour.. It took them a few months to express ship me inserts for my drop crates, by which time I had all but forgotten about them and had the crates glued shut as objective markers and base decoration instead.

To be fair, there were bi-weekly "Y U NO SHIP?" emails, so there is that. And even further, out of all that, I have... assembled a Deff Rolla. Everything else is still sitting around, in their bags. APATHY RULES!

Bought a FW Trygon around 3 years ago. Emailed them a handful of times, they responded back. Apparently they sent it and it bounced. Waited around 6 months for it and simply cancelled the order.

Had a friend order 600$+ worth of FW products with express shipping, ordered a few DKoK models, they came within 2~ weeks along with his stuff. Unless you use express shipping, most of the local expect to wait 1 month plus for any order

I ordered a lifta dropper, standard shipping, and got it within 4 days, i don't think many people order lifta dropper stompa arms!

Or was i just lucky??

An update: I talked to the manager at the GW, and he said that the order would most likely be in this week. Which is good, I guess.

I never had to wait more than 2 weeks for any order. Just lucky I guess.

i think that the companys claiming olympic disruption that are not based in London, or dealing with customers in London are pulling a fast one..FW is a bit north of London, and the olympics as far as i remember isnt till end of month..

Oohh God. Don't ever do express shipping. All express shipping does is make the transit time really fast once it leaves. It does not affect how long it takes for the order to actually leave though.

I did an express shipping order once. Paid £40 for the express shipping. It arrived in 2 days (UK to OZ). Of course, it took 2-3 months to ship.

Waste. Of. Money.
