Opinions on Tzeentch Flamers in 6th edition?? Paired with Deamon Circus, it could be devastating!!

They already were awesome. But yes, they rock still.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

True, but even better now! For only 105 you get 3 fast moving nasty flamers lol.

Its either focus fire to kill the 5 MCs that could kill your entire army. Which is somewhat of a mistake when your opponent allow 9 Breaths of Chaos run around each turn kill a lot of stuff.

IMHO they are a good option now that in larger games you can take 6 elite choices. While always good, they fill a new role as an assault defense choice if played well, as the flame template auto-hits on overwatch D3. Pricey to serve that purpose since they will drop like flies.

true, but if played well along with Deamon Cirucs, they can cause havoc during at least 1 in a half shooting pahse....

That's a 900 point unit though. 10 Flamers are 350 points with a 4++ (possibly re-rollable) and an average of 10 dead MEQ if being assaulted, identical to the sternguard's (lol armour saves).
So they're just as effective (much more effective vs TEQ it should be said) for a third of the points

Unnessesarily extravegant word of the week award goes to jcress410 for this:

I agree, also I find units of 3 are the most effective because flamer templates can't touch friendly units and 3 doesn't get too crowded. I have a 1776 tournament coming up soon, and was planning to pair 3x3 flamer units with deamon circus. Hopefully it will do well.
