Since vehicles can now fire all weapons after moving, I'm just here to put forth an idea for the Ork Gunwagon. Not too interested in point analysis, just wondering what others think about this plan to keep moving and shooting:

Battlewagon: Armour Plates, Grot Riggers, Big Gun, 4 Rokkits, 'Ard Case, maybe Killkannon
Big Mek: KFF, Grot Oiler
2 Burnas/Lootas, 3 Meks, 3 Grot Oilers

So the plan is, if the Wagon survives the opponent's turn, to use the 4 Meks inside to restore weapons and hull points.

An armoured pill-box that repairs itself - interesting idea, and certainly better than it was in 5th Ed.

Why only 2 lootas? Because it will only have 2 side fire points? Understandable, but for this combo unit to be useful, i think it needs to pump out a lot of damage, otherwise it can simply be ignored. Even a killkannon ain't that scary.

I'm tempted to suggest leaving it open-topped, just so more Lootas could shoot out of it, but that would make it a lot more vulnerable to shooting...

Run 3 of those without 'ard case, 12 Lootas, 3 Meks in each one.

Open Topped is killer considering the amount of high strength AP1 and AP2 weapons out there.

It's still AV14/12 with a 5+ save though.

Can you fire the Killkannon while moving?

Page 71, bottom right corner says that 'vehicles can move and fire with Ordnance weapons'.

Can you fire Big Shootas as well?

I've got 3 Battlewagons so I might end up doing this:

Battlewagon, 'ard Case, Deff Rolla, Killkannon, 4x Big Shoota (if they can shoot with an ordinance weapon), Grot Rigger

4 Lootas, 1 Mek in each one

Yes now all weapons can fire when moving at combat speeds, but if an ordnance weapon fires, all other weapons snap fire, even if it remains stationary.

Vehicles are Relentless, so they may fire all weapons. Whether a vehicle moves or not, if it shoots an Ordnance weapon all other weapons are fired as Snap Shots. You can fit 12 models in a BW equipped with a Killkannon. Perhaps 8 Lootas, 3 Meks, and a KFF Big Mek in the main BW and 9 Lootas with 3 Meks in the other two?

For your idea, the Lootas won't be able to fire if the BW is Stunned, so Armour Plates are a must to insure that they can deliver.

I'd skip the killkannon, it hasn't got any better in 6th, and still costs and arm and a leg points-wise. The rest sounds great though.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.

The Ork Gunwagon performed incredibly today! I will be dropping the Kilkannon for 4 more Lootas to tear ass around the 41st millenia throwing 34 to 58 dice even when I move 13"! I didn't fight any vehicles, so I didn't get a good gauge on the value of the AP2 Zzap Gun over the S8 of a Kannon.

Statistically the kannon is better at destroying vehicle than the Zzapgun, even considering the +1 to the damage table.
