Hello everyone, well since 6th edition just came out I figured I better start adding some anti air units to my army, but I wasn't a really big fan of any of the current options available for the Hydra or any of the conversions I have seen so far so I decided to make my own. Hope you like it. (C&C is appreciated)
Really nice conversion and a unique idea. Reminds me of the old M163 from the 1980s. OT a bit: how was the Puppets War stuff in regards to quality of casting?
To answer the questions in regards to puppetwars casting quality, I haven't seen enough examples of their stuff yet to be completely sure of consistency but their heads are perfect and what little flash there is can be easily be rubbed off with your finger. As far as the bigger stuff goes some is really good and other times it is just okay but any small imperfections in the cast can be fixed with a lil greenstuff so it isn't a problem.
So overall I consider Puppetwars to be above average in terms of casting and for the price I am willing to forgive some small imperfections here and there.
AllSeeingSkink- Puppetwars turrets were made to fit on Razorbacks in particular. There are currently two turrets in this style, one with twinlinked assault cannons and the other with twinlinked plasma cannons and a lascannon both come with a replacement turret ring for the rhino chassis. On top these two he also has some other variations which look more like tradional razorback turrets.
