If a unit of Grey Hunters fires their Boltguns in Overwatch, do they get the +1 attack bonus for their pistol+CCW?

Because Boltguns do not offer a +1 attack bonus when combined with a CCW.

But they wouldn't be using their boltguns in combat, just for overwatch. They still get the +1.

Right, but they have a bolt pistol and CCW, meaning they get the +1 attack. There's nothing in the Overwatch rules saying you have to use the weapon you Overwatched with in the subsequent Fight sub-phase or anything like that.

Right, but they have a bolt pistol and CCW, meaning they get the +1 attack. There's nothing in the Overwatch rules saying you have to use the weapon you Overwatched with in the subsequent Fight sub-phase or anything like that.

Firing rapid fire doesn't effect your amount of swings in melee, it just effects if you can charge that turn.

It does, to the extent that you do not get an attack bonus for having a CCW,
But another poster has clarified that you get to use the Boltgun for Overwatch and the Bolt Pistol+ CCW in the subsequent Assault Phase.
Which by the way, is extremely useful for Marines.

Where are you getting this from? Unless you have Relentless you can't charge after firing a Rapid Fire weapon and if you do have Relentless there doesn't seem to be any restriction on getting the +1 bonus for having 2 CCWs if you have them.

You get to rapid fire your boltguns and roll for Counter Attack.
So you get a chance to pick some of them off, and then take out your Pistol and CCW and run at them.
