Hi all,

A friend of mine is sweet on the fortress of redemption and it seems like a lot of room is left in the bloke who brings a fortress along as per access points and fire ports.

I figure that the front bit has 6 fire ports = the fire port looking things, the bunkers have none and the tower has arguably one per facing as the mouth of the angel.

Access points, this thing is mad! I don't own the model, but apparantly there's no access point from the tower onto the battlements around it..

How would people feel about someone building their fortress so the tower did have access points instead of having to give your self a migraine trying to work out how your going to disembark through a million units!

I think that adding like a dozen fire points would be considered cheesy but what are the communities thoughts per this. Especially if someone builds their own from scratch, I wish the book actually said how many fire points it has per section and access points.. I can't see anyone actually using the tower as it doesn't do anything.

somewhere in the webway

i have one, and looked over the model extensivly.

the missile tower (or one of the bunkers) can have a door. the only one on the model. that bunker looks like it attaches to the tower, and the walkway. the walkway connects to the other bunkers battlements, wich has a trap door down. so to acsess the tower you need to enter the adjacant bunker. carving in firepoints, i dunno. the building itself is already pretty big, and has a huge impact on the table, plus with the ability to hold a tower unit, 2 bunker units, a walkway, 2 battlements and an "under walkway" .... i dont think it needs any more. i would have issue with people carving extra firepoints into it.
