I'd buy that ED-209 for a dollar.

ED209 seems to have grown.

Could be good, certainly couldn't be any worse than the TV series or the far worse RC3.

While I kinda like the spot for reminding me of the cheesy old OCP commercials, the first thing I noticed was "wtf Omnicorp"?
Did they really lose the rights to use the original name because some friggin' real life company stole their idea and trademarked it?

It'd be hard for it to be worse than the TV series, though. But RC3, really? I still don't get why so many people didn't like it. Yeah, it's no RC1, but neither was 2, and an origin story only works once. Every movie after the first was bound to be worse, though I still enjoyed them all.

This could be good. Maybe it will fill the media satire hole that the new Starship Troopers is going to leave.

The problem with a Robocop remake is a bit liek the problem with playing Shadowrun/Cyberpunk RPGs. Almost everything in it that was futuristic and cool before, is now everyday stuff.

Boring.

I'm both selfish and rational. I'm scheming, secretive and manipulative; I use knowledge as a tool for personal gain, and in turn obtaining more knowledge. At best, I am mysterious and stealthy; at worst, I am distrustful and opportunistic.

With regard to Shadowrun, seems to me that with the most recent edition they've made the tech seem plausibly futuristic again.

I feel nothing about this remake. Never was a huge fan of Robocop, though.
