Deathwing Termies, 2 LCs, 3 TH/SS (1 with the banner), 215pts
Deathwing Termies, 1 PW sergeant, 1TH/SS, 1 HF, 1 CF, 225pts
Deathwing Termies, 1 PW sergeant, 1TH/SS, 1 assault cannon, 1 CF, 250pts
Deathwing Termies, 1TH/SS, 1 LC, 1 cyclone launcher (and PF), 2 CF, 245pts

Heavy Support:
LRC, extra armour, 265pts

Allied SM detachment:

Epistolary Librarian, termie armour, storm shield, (null-zone and template power) 190pts

Strategy is obvious enough:
Belial, Chaplain and 1st squad of Termies in LRC on the board
3 squads of termies in reserve, libby joins one of them (thinking HF squad)
Infiltrate the scouts.
Flat out the LRC 1st turn and DW assault near the scouts
Hope for some good termie-action carnage!!!

I'm sure it's not the most competitive list, obvious drawback being the lack of mobility once the termies are all on the board and lack of overall firepower but should still be a fun list to play. If you're wondering why I don't have more TH/SS termies in the list, I'm trying to stick with the models I actually have (WYSIWYG).

Anyways, I'm not really looking to change the list, but tactical advice is appreciated.

nice! I was thinking of something similar but using null zone and infinity gate on the libby to give more mobility to a termy squad. I might be wrong but i think as long as they are battle buddies then psychic powers will work on all friendly units.

Battle Buddies gives a full share list except for riding in someone elses ride. Also the plague of Termies is rising.

I am surprised you are skipping out on the apothecary upgrade, extra 5+ save that works against anything but s8+ seems like a win to me. I will admit that at first, I thought it was going to be wasted points going from 4+ to 5+, but working against power weapons and plasma is pretty sweet.

Why not just take Ravenwing, they can do what you want the scouts to do, but better.

Toughness 5 models with scout. Add a couple of plasma to them as well. Nice little unit. If you take Sammael then they are troops as well.

But I guess you want tha Libby in there.

I don't have any regular bikes, just a couple attack bikes.
I don't have the termie-apothecary although I am tempted to just proxy it for a game.

It is interesting you will have trouble with fliers so make sure to use cover well.

Tactically your only available tactic is to get in combat quickly and hope to destroy your opponent there

Totally agree with you, there isn't a whole lot of firepower. Getting into assault will be key.

You'll want CMLs for all your termy squads, as it doesn't cost many points. Then the apothecary is also too good a value not to take, quite easy to model as well.

The raider is huge brick, limits the number of models you have, it is huge target and generally stops your termies from shooting. I would drop it.

Epistolary upgrade I would only take if you are playing around with the new rulebook powers.

Sniper scouts deserve camo cloaks, I would make them one squad and give them Telion so they get +2 to their cover save.

You will be out manoeuvred as you are most foot slogging, you can not guarantee the assault. As such you do want to actually go shooty, with the ability to fight in cc if threatened, whilst being able to handle being shot at.

I think I would make space for Stormtalon, it will be a gamble but a nice gamble neither the less. Or maybe scout bikers as a joke, maybe lead by an int. chaplain.

One other thing to think about, I know they are more points, but DA scouts run with WS and BS 4 instead of the 3s that generics get/

It should also be said by those of us who are deathwing through and through. You can never have enough storm shields.

I completely agree with above comments but as previously mentioned I'm trying to stick with the models I have, and don't have money to get more models...

They are expensive; You'll only care about 6s so BS does not really matter; they are not scoring; they do not have cloaks; they can not have stealth.

One other little tip: put your CML on the sergeants, save your missiles with "Look out sir." And yes, it can go on the sergeant, the codex entry states that one terminator may take the upgrade, and the sarg is definitely a terminator.

I'm fairly certain that sergeant's can't take CMLs. The codex entry says that "terminators" may heavy weapons, and the sergeant is listed as a "terminator sergeant." That may be a little RAW, but that's how I've always interpreted it.
