My first game of 6th so far! No pics I'm afraid, but I'll try to fix that next time. So far, the change is looking good!

Sounded like an exciting game. Just remember the orders which things are done so either the game goes more fluidly or you don't make mistakes. For example the turn where the sarge made a huge number of saves, you could have rolled them all at once since the unit had the same save all the way through.
Later your enemy shot on Overwatch and you rolled the charge range before the shooting. It's the other way round. This is important if you had several units ready to charge.

To me the Chaos Space Marines needed to be characterised as a threat reaching back to the Imperium's past, a threat which had refused to lie down and become part of history. This is in part why the gods of Chaos are less pivotal in Codex Chaos; we felt that the motivations of Chaos Space Marines should remain their own, no matter how debased and vile. Though the corrupted Space Marines of the Traitor Legions make excellent champions for the gods of Chaos, they are not pawns and have their own agendas of vengeance, empire-building vindication or arcane study which gives them purpose.

Thanks for the feedback, and good point on the Overwatch/roll for change.

Also, remember the controlling player gets to choose which weapon gets taken off for a weapon destroyed. You said you damaged the hellhound, and it lost the inferno cannon. It should have a heavy bolter on there, which he would have gotten rid of first.

That's not the way it works now. Weapon destroyed results are random now. If there's an inferno cannon and the bolter, you assign 1-3 to cannon 4-6 to bolter and roll a 1d6 to determine what got knocked off.

In lieu of that, it might be worthwhile to take useless upgrades like stubbers now to minimize the chance of your useful weapon getting destroyed.

Yeah, we did it randomly, which I just got lucky by getting the inferno cannon. Thats also how I go the heavy bolter off the russ, not an important gun.
