I've seen the threads about ebay follies and ebay bargains but haven't seen one about things you've missed out on.

I've literally just seen an auction end on ebay consisting of:

Pedro Kantor
Dreadnought
5 Sternguard
4 Devastators
4 Bikes
Attack Bike

All assembled and hardly touched by a paintbrush.
It went for £20 including postage. To buy new would be £133.50rrp.

I'm kicking myself for spending my gaming budget early this month.

Anyone else not had enough money left/enough money to begin with/been sniped at the last minute resulting in missing out on a bargain? Don't be shy, share the pain.

Formerly GW did "apocolypse" bundles. Some examples:
3 Leman Russes for the price of 2
12 sentinals

Hand I know the direction things were going, i'd have purchase a few of the Leman Russ ones and ebayed them years later. I purchased the Sentinal one and loved it... then the new guard codex came out and it got sold. I liked having 12 sentinals in 1 army.

The Tyranid Army bundle from 2008 or 2009, it looked awesome.

Definitely this.

I wasn't really wargaming much at the time that Apocalypse came out and that aspect of 40k doesn't really bother me that much any way, but the prospect of getting tank companies in cheap GW bundles and then possible further discounts from the usual suspects was a bit annoying when I came back literally as they were all stopped.

Also any number of small eBay purchase that in retrospect you could have won if you just bid another quid. Gah!

LGS liquidated all GW product for 50% off and no one even told me about it. They were all too busy running back buying up everything for themselves.
