Basically I thought of Tau with psychic powers and it made me all giddy. So I thought that my friend could give me all his old eldar and I could make a list out of it. This is my first attempt at making a list with an allied detachment in it. Not sure what to do with the rest of the points however. Also I added a fortification to strengthen my main fire warrior line.

Not bad. Remember guide./fortune can only affect eldar units, which I assume will be pathfinders. If you want to TL your suits, you need to switch guide for prescience, and drop fortune as you will have to roll to replace it. Also a farseer should never take more powers than they can cast, so either add spirit stones or drop a power. I would also drop the singing spear to eek out some extra points, adding it back only when you need to kill 3 points.

Bonding knives are not as critical in this edition, as even 1 man can attempt to rally, and 25% instead of 50 rally at normal LD.

Jink saves did away with the ever critical d-pod, so I would drop these in favor of more guns on the field.

If you take the A.S.S on the side 'ui it needs to be on all team members. The drone controller is only taken if you take drones. EIther way, throw a couple shield drones in this unit.

Make sure your elite suits have a multi tracker as their third hard point.

I would drop the shield generator on your commander, as 2 shield drones and putting him in a unit should do.

If you can find the points put a gun in your ageis. Put the farseer+rangers here and have the BS5 farseer shoot a 4 shot autocannon or Lascannon. Twin link using prescience/guide to make it completely boss.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Dr. Serling eldar/tau are battle brother so you are wrong on your statement. Jinx does not work on the 1st turn.

There's actually a debate (which I think is more on the Dr.'s side) that says the Eldar Codex specifically says it only effects Eldar Units. That is what he meant when you'd have to drop it for the generic ones which can affect any "friendly" unit.

As for the Jink, you should be able to place your vehicles behind some cover for the first turn to get a cover save. But the first blood secondary objective might warrant the d pod.
