**Dr Disrespect**

Well, me and my friend just finished an afternoon of gaming. Our first game was 1500 points, but as that is lengthier, I'll do that later.

We decide to just play KP, or the sixth ed equivalent, purge the alien. He wins the roll off and goes first. With out Imotekh I don't sieze.

Turn 1

Blood Angels

He deploys centrally and just moves up, not doing much. mephiston uses his wings of Sanguinus and moves 12.

Necrons

I concentrate fire and wipe out the one squad without Mephiston, and knock off 1 off the other.

Necrons:1
Blood Angels:0

Massed fire is my only hope right now, but that lone 5 man squad relly worries me, if he assaults me, I'm done

Turn 2

Blood Angels

He moves closer with the assault squads and prepares to charge me. Mephiston tries his wings of Sanguinus and rolls double ones! It goes off, but takes a wound. YES! He shoots a plasma pistol at my immortals and kills it. It comes back on RP. Assault squad charges my warriors.
Mephiston rolls for two more psychic powers and fails both on an 11. DOUBLE YES!! he has one wound left. As he charges into my squad my overlord bellows a challenge to him and he accepts. After failing most rolls, or they have been saved. He attacks back and kills Mephiston. Lol
His assault marines only kill one warrior, and I kill 2 in response.

Seeing his dire situation, he concedes the game.

This game is a great example of how bad rolling can really kill the game!

Not sure if this is how you played it, but it sounds like Mephy was joined to the second assault squad? If so, he's not an independent character, and must go solo.

You only take a wound on psykers on a double 1 or double 6; y'all totally played mephy wrong

Yeah, rules error and the fact that it's kinda...weird to think about using Mephiston in such a low points game.
