According to a new list provided by DFC Intelligence in conjunction with Xfire, League of Legends gamers logged nearly 1.3 billion hours of gameplay. In second place was World of Warcraft, which despite some usage declines, still registered more than 600 million hours of gameplay (not including Asia).

I sort of expected to come into this thread ducking under skull fragments.

I'm sort of surprised to see Maplestory even placing, though with their events at times equating to more or less "go afk for a couple hours and get cool stuff" it could explain something. I guess the surprising part was it placing there despite it being down so often.

Almost every female character in LoL are kawaii as all hell. They are made for the asian market and supposed to appeal to it.

Mortred, Lanaya, Windrunner, Enchantress, Luna and Drow Ranger are sexualized very little. Vengeful Spirit, Krobelus, and Spectre are all otherwordly entities.

QoP is extremely sexualized because she is supposed to be - she is a Succubus.

It isn't an argument in the slightest - it's very obvious.

As weird as it is, I agree with Karon on this one. Not that I'm complaining mind you. I'd gladly put Fiora as my desktop background

Have you guys seen Zyra yet? I mean, damn... At least with Ashe and Caitlyn they were being subtle

EDIT: Of course I also generally like the cel-shaded style of LoL. They have a capable art team... Even if some champs are desperately in need of a redesign. Poor, poor Nunu... Poor Nunu

The reason why the women don't wear anything in LoL is because then it would be unfair. See, the women are just that much tougher on Runeterra than anywhere else, so if they wore any sort of protective clothing, they would just be able to Tank and Spank ( ) the men without us being able to do anything about it.

Just because a game has alot of scantily clad females, it doesn't mean it's doing that to compensate for lack of gameplay.
If the females were more....reserved....it wouldn't make much, if any difference to me, not saying I am complaining they ARE in there.

I actually redownloaded LoL after all this time yesterday.

I wanted to see what new heroes they had, and I did find one that peaked my interest enough to start playing a game or two.

Viktor is basically a 40k Tech Priest, which is simply badass. I have about 4k IP, and apparently a 10 win IP boost that I don't remember buying.

I'll probably only play 1 or 2 games a day until I get him. I just joke around a lot in games and still am better than everyone on the team.

Vik is fun, and he's a sleeper; no one plays him because of his horrible release, and the stigma his passive has. Personally, I love him.

Also, I would wait to get into it too heavily; they are about to update Xin Zhao, Eve, and Twitch, along with Zyra being released. We will have to see how that all goes.

Oh no, I'm not planning on like playing LoL heavily again. DotA is still my game and I maintain its superior to LoL.

But Dota doesn't have a god damn Tech Priest.

What do you mean "horrible release"? There was always a shitstorm when pretty much every hero was released.

He was incredibly underpowered to the same extent as Yorick; a fair few people were almost demanding their money back and such. Coupled with the fact that he had 5 item slots instead of 6....
