Well, I cannot believe I going through with it, but I am going to strip all of my Ultramarines that I have painted so far and start over anew. I just keep looking at them and finding things that I know I could do better and I also want to do some conversion work on them to really make them stand out. I just started painting minis about a year and a half ago and I have only painted a handful of marines and a Dreadnought but I have allready improved drastically over my beginning skill thanks to the help and advice of many YouTube community members and friends I have made on Google+. I really feel that I can do a way better job on them and it's bothering me that I keep picking out little things on them that I know I can improve on or add too. So, today I make the move to put them all in the SimpleGreen and let them pickle for a week or two. Time to say goodbye to the old and create the new! Wish me luck and let me know what you think. Thanks.

Good luck with your project
I'm currently working at my own marines, have a thread called 'reconditioning my marines for 6th edition' around here somewhere.

Consider breaking them down into components and magnetising special / heavy weapons and vehicle options while theyre stripped down. Thats my current job - stripping down and magnetising all my current figures, starting with the SM then moving onto the orks a few months later.

'Ain't nothing crazy about me but my brain. Right brain? Riight! No not you right brain! Right left brain? Right!... Okay then lets do this!!

I'm not sure what this thread is all about, at first I thought you would ask for product suggestions on stripping minis, but it seems like your generally just looking for feedback on decided to strip your stuff?

Good luck either way, not a fan of using simple green hopefully it works for you
