Hey!
I thought that putting a thread up to show what all I get done with this army would help keep me motivated to make it, as I make these solely for the hobby. Anyway, the 33rd Kerelkan Mechanized Regiment is from the ice world of Kerelka. I have some backstory written out and I'm going to keep building it as I go.

I finished a miniature to test out a paintscheme, and it came out pretty nicely overall, minus the 15 layers of paint on his face where I kept messing up making eyes and had to cover it in more flesh. Theres some light converting, chopping the stock off the lasgun and filing down the shoot-me wings on his helmet. I messed up horribly with the wash. Lesson learned.

And just for fun.

Should have a squad finished by the end of next week. Im taking considerably more time with them than my first... unspeakably horrible attempt at painting.

Cool nice free handed numerals

We are winged salvation, but we are a terrible, final salvation, and our wings embrace the horizon with fire. We are the Blood Angels. To confront us is to die, and death is my remit, my reality, my unbounded domain. I have known death, and defeated it, claimed it as my own. To my cost, to my strength, death is my one gift to bestow, and I am nothing if not generous.

Cool stuff !

The only poorly painted miniature is the one that is not painted.

Did a really small hellhound conversion with an old panzer II, I'll get a picture once it's painted.
