I've been wanting to get into 40k for a while, and when I saw this on ebay i figured it looked like a good deal. the box is for a space marine battle box, the contents seem to be the dark angels battle box, and there is extra stuff in it, like terrain and what not.

So, you guys wanna tell me what all you can spot in there?

I don't have the set, not sure when it was made, but from what I see it looks all there, I was looking for more marine parts in the pics then I looked in the box, heh

I see 4 terminators, 10 tacticals, 3 bikes and a landspeeder, plus some bits and a piece of terrain.

Not exactly worth it TBH.

So, total, this lot seems to come to about 180.00 dollars retail. 140 on ebay. Is it that the units blow? Why is it not worth it?

The models are older. However, the tactical Marines are nearly identical to the ones we have now, as are the bikes. The Terminators are the older plastic ones, and the land speeder is the old abominable kit. Honestly, I don't think it's a bad deal exactly, just not an amazing one. It should make for a solid start to your army. As for age, it's from early 3rd edition, in the late 90s.
