So, anyone else notice that, according to the Eldar FAQ, Eldrad can only generate 4 powers from the rulebook even though he has 5 codex powers? Typo on GW's part maybe?

Anyways, wondering what the consensus was...play him 5 generated powers per the 6th brb, or with 4 per the faq..

FAQ overrides the BRB. A number of named psykers are unable to generate as many psychic powers as they get if they take codex powers.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Njal gets the worst shafting in this regard. Yes, it is intentional.

4 because the FAQ says 4.

However having played him once with the book powers, I'll be sticking to the codex powers. No fortune or Doom is painful.

Divination is pretty awesome, but does lack a fortune equivalent. It has the Doom and Guide bases covered.

I think a good mix is to take Eldrad and a Fortune-seer in a 2k list.

4. s ame as Njal gets 3, Tigurius only gets 3, etc.

And Sevrin Loth gets 6.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.
