Converted these Sanguinary priests from DC models and used the heads from the SG kit. Paint job turned out quite good IMO.

I believe your opinion on the paint job to be correct, these look awesome. How did you get your white so, white?

Black basecoat, space wolves grey, 50/50mix of space wolves grey and white, then two coats of white. It's easy to do small areas, but did one white scar model and it didn't turn out so well Ofc with a bit more patience, and not just drybrushing it would have looked a bit better (meaning the WS marine). The white looks more bright, because the rest of the model is primed black and because of that quite dark.

Beautiful paintjob sir. My only issue with these is one of nitpicking preference. No nartheciums, reductors or any other apothicariyish bits? I noticed the high amount of white used in their colors but I'm a fluff/conversion nut.

Again the paint is better than 90% of any models I do. Nice work.

lovely paintjob, wish I could do as well, but yes, I do think they should have narthesiums

I need to get the nartheciums later, maybe order some bits from somewhere. Don't feel like buying the honor guard box x3 just for the one hand bit. For now they don't have them unfortunatelly. Then it's just a basic hand swap when i get the nartheciums.

There's a tutorial floating around one of the forums for making your own from a power fist and chain sword. Look for that, cause even on ebay, apothecary bits can run you any where from $10-18. At those prices, you might as well buy the metal apothecaries.

I really like these models. Especially the shades of red you used and the flame affect for the jetpacks. Though I go for a more dirty muddy look with my blood angels. Great work.

1600 points of red goodness!

The shade of red on the PA is from a black undercoat, drybrush with new khorne red (not that dry brush ), then drybrush with blood red two times (a bit dryer brush! ) then the lines of the power armor are done mixing blood red, sunburst yellow and skull white. I usually look for a bit more comic book coloring with my models and stand way clear from any reality like mud or weathering, exept maybe on vehicles.

Oh nice, need to look that up and maybe do them this way, if i can find the tutorial. Got a few power fists lying around, so why not put them to good use

Ok, i didn't find the tutorial about the nartheciums, but googled a bit and found this image:

I'ts a bit big for a power armor apotechary, but try to make one a bit smaler from a PA powerfist+chainsword and then need to make the needle part from scratch, possibly using a banner pole and a boltpistol. Will post the end result when it's done ofc
