I like the colour scheme

I like that model and the paint scheme.

Looks good, although I can't help but feel that the carapace needs a bit more highlighting.

Y'know, I have always loved that model ever since GW made it. Don't get me wrong, the massively large, hunched over "I'm gonna eat y'all" fex kit now is awesome (built 3 of them) but that guy there just screams character. I used to have one as my Hive Tyrant.

But I digress... you've done a great job with him, just pick out the edges of the carapace a bit more & you're golden

Its a a good model but the carapace seems kind of meh compared to the rest of the model. Maybe you should highlight it or but some kind of freehand on it?

Looks good, only a few problems:

The bubbles on the base need some blending into the surrounding lava, they look a bit like golf balls floating on the surface at the moment.

The skin could do with a wash to show the recesses a bit more, this is particularly noticeable on the legs.

The end of the Stranglethorn Cannon needs at least a hole painted on the end in black.

Also, just personal preference, but the carapace would benefit from gloss varnishing.
